In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx.
TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxITU, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxITU event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TED program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

This independent TEDx event is operated under license from TED.

Trapped in a world full of antics that one does not seem to correlate with we often end up creating a bubble of comfort and escape – our own little world. What if we told you that the real joy of experiencing the thrill of life is to allow yourself to connect with the diversity of thoughts, ideas, personalities, and experiences of the world around you?

TEDxITU’17 will take you on an exhilarating ride where ideas collide. The theme Afraad Kay Hathon Main Hay highlights how an individual thought, an individual passion can help bring a community together to acknowledge, explore and mitigate societal issues.

Creating a space of integrated thoughts that brings people from various disciplines together, we are hopeful of giving our community a platform to reassess their perceived notions about what it means to interact with the increasingly complex world around them.

Let’s reignite the spark of diversity within us!
